HABITAT : Moist deciduous forests and urban landscape
HABITS:
The clipper is a fast-flying butterfly and has a habit of flying with its wings flapping stiffly between the horizontal position and a few degrees below the horizontal. It may glide between spurts of flapping.
IDENTIFICATION FEATURES:
Large Black and yellowish Green butterfly with wingspan 95-115mm and with terminal white spots.
SIMILAR SPECIES :
LARVAL HOST PLANTS
Zanonia indica (Cucurbitaceae), Tinospora sinensis (Menispermaceae), Adenia hondala (Passifloraceae).
