DISTRIBUTION found in the Indian subcontinent, southeastern Asia, and Australia. STATUS: It is uncommon, but not considered to be threatened as a species HABITAT
HABITS
IDENTIFICATION FEATURES It has a small wingspan of 2.5 to 5 cm (1 to 2 in). The upper side of the otherwise white forewing has a large, somewhat pear-shaped, black spot; this spot is also present on the underside which is scattered with greenish dots and speckles, sometimes arranged in bands.
